Yahoo and Marriott International debut first hospitality media network

A relevant itinerary can make a world of difference for travelers. That’s why Marriott International engages with travelers on their purchase journey with location-based, relevant products and services. These tailored brand experiences help consumers make smarter purchase decisions and improve their overall experience thanks to the Marriott Media Network (MMN), powered by Yahoo.

We’re proud to partner with MMN to create the hospitality industry’s first global media network. Available for Yahoo DSP clients starting Q2 2022, the omnichannel advertising platform will enable brand advertisers to deliver personalized and engaging experiences to Marriott’s audience.

“Yahoo’s full-stack solutions made them the perfect media partner,” said Chris Norton, Senior Vice President of Marketing Channels & Optimization, Marriott International. “We can maximize our inventory’s potential, connect the right advertisers with the right audiences and deliver a more relevant ad experience to our loyal travelers around the world.”

MMN will offer brand advertisers access to in-demand, high-intent travelers in the U.S. and Canada and soon expand globally to include more than 164 million Marriott Bonvoy members, the company’s award-winning travel program. Its premium inventory spans owned channels, including display, mobile, video, email and digital out-of-home (in-room television and digital screens).

MMN unlocks innovative solutions to connect and personalize ad experiences across paid and owned media channels, with Yahoo SSP as the exclusive access point for activating the MMN supply. The Yahoo global ad sales team will lead demand generation and sales across Marriott’s paid media and MMN, leveraging Yahoo expanded DSP.

The exclusive offering is a strategic, full-stack partnership and represents the next step in our investment in the media network space. It also underscores our unique ability to support advertisers and publishers in unlocking the full value of their content, audiences and marketing.

To connect with more travelers, drop us a digital postcard. Until then, bon voyage.
